With 10+ years of experience in book publishing, creative writing, project management, social media, and client experience, I can tackle pretty much anything you throw at me.

I'm currently up to my old tricks at Wiley as a freelance editorial project manager, copyeditor, and general editing fiend. Before I went full-time freelance, I was working at Allocations as a client experience specialist, managing client communications and building a client education program. 

In a former life, I was a reporter and columnist, focusing on the connection between food, emotion, and memory. My passion for sustainable agriculture and ethical consumption leads me to work with people who care about our collective health and our planet's health.

CURRENT PROJECTS

WRITER AT LARGE

June 2023 - Present

Honing my craft by juggling a few projects. I'm aiming to launch a new blog soon, where I'll be writing about any number of things- cooking, astrology, sketch comedy, Chicago, the best music to listen to while on the El, etc. I'm also in the process of creating a new podcast project with a new friend, and I hope to be writing some more pieces for Spinning Platters soon too. I plan on pitching new satire pieces to other publishers later this year.

April 2021 - Present

Managing projects for Wiley ProTech books, including Sybex, Wrox and other Wiley branded titles. Communicating with senior managing editors, content enablement operation managers, and authors to ensure all projects are completed and published on time.

Managed client communications and expectations through email and chatbot platforms.
